Why Give

When you give to support the efforts at the Hope Center in Ethiopia you are giving to the future of Ethiopia!

The Hope Center is located in a densely populated area in the Merkato District where poverty and illness has its way on the children there. Your gift goes to support the Hope Center and a daycare program that has been in operation for 10+ years because of generous givers like you.

Our children go there before and after school, where they receive food, tutoring, medicine, transportation, and other basic needs that cannot be afforded in their homes. In order for these children to attend school a uniform and book is required. 5 Loaves assists in making sure that the children of the Hope Center have these uniforms and books each year.

Our service model for 5 Loaves is that your gift covers ALL, just as Jesus covered ALL with his blood for those that believe. We hope you will join us as we continue to care for the Hope Center and the Children it serves. It’s amazing how God placed this Center here in the Merkato district to be a light to these Children. It is an opportunity for us, as supporters of the mission, to express God’s love through our actions, and share God’s love through His word.
