Yonas Tesfaye: Executive Director
Yonas Tesfaye is a seasoned leader and passionate advocate for the rights of orphans, vulnerable children, and underprivileged women. As the Executive Director of the HOPE Center, he has been at the forefront of transformative initiatives since 2009. With over 15 years of experience in the non-profit sector, Yonas has played a pivotal role in building partnerships with organizations across the globe, starting with collaborative efforts in the USA, to address the needs of the most marginalized groups in Ethiopian society.
Holding two Master's degrees, one in Leadership and the other in Social Psychology, Yonas brings a unique blend of academic insight and practical experience to his work. His leadership at the HOPE Center is driven by his deep passion for empowering women and children, especially in challenging socio-economic environments. As the key point of contact for the Amest Dabo Board in Ethiopia, Yonas is responsible for overseeing all operations of the HOPE Center, ensuring the implementation of strategic programs that create lasting change in the lives of vulnerable populations.
A dedicated family man, Yonas resides in Addis Ababa with his wife and their three young boys. His commitment to creating a better future for others is deeply rooted in his values as a husband, father, and leader, making him a respected figure both in the community and within the non-profit sector.

Tinsae Solomon: Coordinator
Tinsae Solomon is an experienced and dedicated Project Coordinator at the HOPE Center, where he has been an integral part of the team since 2018. With a Master’s degree in Project Management, Tinsae brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role, where he is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of the organization’s projects.
